Brian Stanford Lindsay

Toms River, NJ
With over 15 years of experience in 911 emergency medical services, I have responded to a wide range of critical situations and consistently demonstrated the ability to remain calm, efficient, and effective under pressure. Much of my career has been spent in leadership roles, including serving as a First Lieutenant, where I guided teams in high-stress environments and ensured both patient care and operational readiness.

Although my higher education focused on technology rather than medicine, this background has strengthened my ability to think logically, troubleshoot complex problems, and adapt quickly in dynamic situations. In today’s EMS environment—where technology plays a vital role in communication, patient monitoring, and equipment management—these skills are especially valuable. When high-tech systems fail in the field, I have the expertise to debug, repair, or devise practical solutions that keep operations moving.

I am confident in my ability to balance speed with accuracy, lead effectively in high-stakes situations, and bridge the gap between emergency medical response and the growing reliance on technology in healthcare. My combination of field experience, leadership, and technical problem-solving makes me a strong asset to any EMS team.

Learning

I'm always eager to learn. If I'm put in a new environment, I study my surroundings thoroughly. The longer I'm kept in that environment, the faster I find a way to turn it into an art. Where I find different uses for things to help make things easier and more efficient.

Technology

I have always had a deep interest with technology since I was a child. My parents bought me my first computer so I would stop hacking and tinkering with the family computer. I've followed advancements in technology closely. I've taught myself most of what I know out of pure curiosity.
